Workshops
The grant application promised a total of nine teacher training workshops. As of October 1, 2007, six of the nine have been completed.
2006, September-October. Locations: Knoxville, Nashville, and Memphis
2007, September. Locations: Jackson, Lebanon, Johnson City
2008, Fall. Possible locations: Northwest TN, Tullahoma, Chattanooga area
In-service
Most teachers are introduced to Volunteer Voices through in-service training days. The Education Coordinator spends much of her time travelling across the state to present Volunteer Voices to teachers during their in-service sessions.
