Quality Control

1. Verify incoming files are successfully transferred to the server
2. Check for existence of data in required fields
3. Check for correct template ( date that Melanie released the template)
4. Check for out of range characters in data (and correct)
5. Check for correct self-identifier ( FILENAME comment)
6. Check for correct number of tiffs
7. If there is time, check that all tiffs are valid
8. Visual QC on images--orientation correct, layers flattened, RGB/8bit color
9. Create derivatives--this step catches more corruption errors
10. Check for existence of all derivatives
11. Check for correct directory
12. Check for duplicates
